My name is Chloe. I have 6 siblings and 2 cats. I'm in 5th grade. I went to Africa over the summer and will be going back next summer, but instead of just my mom, dad and me, my whole family will come. Next summer we will be going to Return Ministries and we are raising money to help them get land to build a school and home for the children.The kids in Africa are very creative. They make really pretty bracelets out of yarn and toy cars out of wire. They love simple things like holding your hand. They make the best out of the worst.
This week my challenge to you is to make the best out of the worst and tell me about it in the comment section!
In Africa you make friends fast.Where here it takes time to find just the right moment to talk with them. But I only got to know a few kids really well in Africa. One of them was named Hannah.She is 10 years old and the only girl my age that I would take home in a second. She is very pretty ( and even when no one was aloud to dance she did all the motions with me in the song Lord I Love To Sing Your Praises). When we were on a walk she told me about everything and picked flowers(some kids even got in the lake).And when we left it felt so bad to just leave her behind and go back to a wasteful place (it took forever to stop crying).My challenge to you this week is to talk to someone you normally don't talk to and see if God can build a friendship.
